There are a number of videos available
to demonstrate the capabilities of Karaoke CD+G Author,
as well as a full MP3+G demonstration.
What is MP3+G? An MP3 track is simply
a compressed audio file that will usually play in up-to-date
versions of media players such as Windows Media Player
or Winamp. MP3's are usually much smaller than
uncompressed audio files (frequently one tenth of the
size) which means that the demonstration will download
much quicker. The download is a zip file that contains
an MP3 audio track and a CD+G graphics file and requires
the use of a software CD+G player to view on a PC.
This demonstration is also available
in windows video (wmv) format. Two versions are available.
The higher quality version (2.6 MB) is ideal for broadband
users whereas those on a dial-up modem will appreciate
the smaller file size of the lower quality video (1.4
MB). Windows videos do not reflect the quality possible
when veiwing the MP3+G demonstration, but they are useful
when no CD+G player is available.
